    Ciaran has been working for Smithers for nearly twenty years supporting the packaging, print and paper value chains with key market and technical information in the form of conferences, reports and consulting. Ciaran has worked on winning and delivering a wide range of market consultancy projects to major industry players, recent projects include a global assessment of printing and packaging growth trends and market assessment for a major new product launch for one of the world’s largest packaging converters.

    Ciaran has launched and managed many international conferences in this sector including Digital Print for Packaging, SustPack, Specialty Papers and Print Futures.

Before that she held multiple positions at P&G globally, including Great China FemCare R&D Product Research Section Head, and Northern East Asia &Great China R&D Pantene /Vidal Sassoon Franchise Manager etc.
    With rich consumer research knowledge in FMCG , as well as 16 years’ experience in China/ Asia franchise innovation, Jasmine is also a consumer research expert and China consumer insight expert.

    Director China Post

    Kang Li holds a master's degree and the position of technical director and laboratory director of the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Postal Service of State Post Bureau. She's also the authorized officer of the recognized fields of seals, packaging, container supplies and equipment of postal industry.

    Besides, she is technical leader of green packaging technology research and development center of postal industry, the head of Green Development Research Center of China Post Research Institute and Green Packaging Innovation Lab of China Post Group.

    She has been engaged in the formulation of standards for packaging products in the field of postal and express delivery, research on soft science development. She presided over the revision of the national standard "Express Packaging Products", which incorporates green environmental protection indicators, packaging recycling and biodegradable plastics of express packaging products into national standards.

    She is the sub-project leader of National NQI project “the Key Technology of Green Logistic”. Besides, she has been involved in the drafting of the national standard “Express Waybill”, industry standard “Postal Electric Tricycle Technical Requirements”, “Postal Packaging Tape Part 2: Biodegradable Tape”, “Express Container Part 2: Container Bags”; Industry Standards of the Ministry of Commerce “Technical Requirements and Management Specifications for Green Packaging Materials and E-Commerce”.

She has experience on the area of transport packaging test & certificate, developing standard, packaging materials testing, packaging integrated solution and packaging education. She achieved Certificate of Senior Engineer on Quality Inspection from Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Tianjin in China in 2013 and be approved by CPRTC in 2014.

He also leads the global Ecommerce & Foodservice strategy.
    Before his time at Tetra Pak, Philip spent three years at the Copenhagen Business School and has a degree in International Business & Politics.

Robert is based in Oslo, Norway, and before joining Kezzler he spent 10 years in Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv), whereof the last 2.5 years in Abu Dhabi as Technical Business Director in Thomson Reuters Middle East managing the top accounts in UAE’s capital from a technical strategy perspective. He has broad experience around building and selling data and SaaS solutions, working with platform business and digitalisation.

    Nozomi Sales Development Manager Asia Pacific EFI

    Wouter Sieben, originally from the Netherlands, graduated from University in Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Software Engineering, with a Graphics and Imaging major.

    Wouter started his career in a well-regarded photo imaging house in Australia during the early 1990’s as a digital imaging operator, creating film composites, production layouts and later photo retouching to be output onto posters and advertising media for retail and airport displays throughout Australia and New Zealand.

    After nine years working in and managing production, Wouter moved to a solutions reseller to specialise in large format inkjet devices, training in all aspects of colour management from litho press profiling through to digital inkjet colour matching.

    During the mid 2000’s, Wouter moved into branding and packaging, joining an international design agency to work on print technology and colour strategy to realise designs into production. This eventually led Wouter to become Lead Print Production Manager for Procter and Gamble, being based in Singapore, managing technical requirements between design and print production across four categories throughout Asia, Pacific, Japan and Korea.

    In 2012, Wouter joined HP in Singapore taking care of the applications and colour management team, engineer and customer training as well as supporting the business development team and partners in a solutions architect role on technical requirements to design solutions for our customers.

    From 2016, within HP, Wouter turned his focus back to packaging, as the Business Development and Category Manager for Industrial Packaging Solutions, as well as various special integration and workflow projects for Packaging and digital press customers.

    Most recently, Wouter’s career took an exciting shift again by joining EFI late in 2019 as the Nozomi Sales Development Manager for Asia Pacific. His has him focussing on all things relating to digital print for corrugated from market development and education, current customer growth and new business development.

    Duan Yanjian holds a master’s degree in packaging engineering, graduated from Jiangnan University. Now he’s responsible for logistics and packaging technique in JD Logistics. In 2017, he has launched “Green Stream Initiative” with several brands which aims to promote green and sustainable development of the end-to-end supply chain (B2B2C) along with upstream and downstream enterprises.

    Besides, he has founded green corrugated packaging alliance and e-commerce packaging standard alliance in order to promote e-commerce packaging standard and industrial certification, also remodel supply chain packaging of e-commerce.

    He has been involved in the drafting and revising of dozens of national/industry packaging standards.

  • Yun-xuan Weng

    Professor, Secretary-General of the Degradable Plastic Committee of CPPIA of China, Secretary-General of the Technology Committee of Standardization of Biobased and Degradable Materials Beijing Technology & Business University

    Yun-xuan WENG is an professor at the School of Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Technology & Business University. His research is mainly focused on durability, degradation and sustainable development of polymeric materials. He acts as secretary-general of the Degradable Plastic Committee of CPPIA of China, and also as secretary-general of the Technology Committee of Standardization of Biobased and Degradable Materials. 
    He organized to formulate a number of national standards for food direct contact packaging materials, such as plastic wrap, plastic shopping bags, continuous roll bags, disposable tableware and other national standards. He promoted the establishment of the standard of bio-based materials and biodegradable plastics industry standard system and promoted the production and application of industrial scale. The technical cooperation on the production of biodegradable plastic film bag and tableware and other products has been carried out with a number of production enterprises.
    More than 60 periodicals, such as SCI and EI, are published, and 20 national standards and 2 books are made. The project includes the national natural fund project, the national quality inspection public welfare project and the support plan of the Ministry of science and technology. 2 awards were awarded for the standard innovation contribution of General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine, and 3 of the scientific and technological innovation awards of China National Light Industry Council.
