Nedim Nisic is an experienced executive in the eCommerce and packaging industry, currently serving as the Group eCommerce Director at Mondi Group.
In his role, he spearheads the company's efforts to support online retailers and marketplaces in transitioning to sustainable, innovative, and consumer-friendly eCommerce packaging. With a team of cross-segment experts, he helps eCommerce companies develop and execute packaging strategies that combine their economic objectives, sustainability requirements, and consumer expectations.
One of Nedim's significant accomplishments at Mondi Group has been the creation and implementation of the eCommerce market strategy for the Corrugated Solutions segment. Through this initiative, Nedim led the segment automation project, including building the first Mondi packing automation machine and establishing partnerships with various suppliers.
Mondi Group is a global leader in packaging and paper, offering a full range of multi-material custom eCommerce packaging solutions, including kraft and functional barrier paper, paper bags, and corrugated solutions.
Born in the UK, educated in Rhodesia and South Africa, Stephen Harrod spent eleven years building a market research company in South Africa, focussed on the paper and packaging industry in that country, following which he spent six years in the paper industry with Mondi and JAC Labels before relocating to England. He has been consulting on ad-hoc projects and authoring reports for Smithers since 2006, with a focus on global paper and packaging markets. Stephen is responsible for a range of Smithers market reports including the Global Corrugated Market, the Global Folding Carton Market, Retail Ready Packaging, Liquid Packaging Board, Sustainable E-Commerce Packaging and many others.
Brought up in a family of printing and paper production and 15 years at H&M HQ marketing department working with innovation, building our supplier network, the startup of our sustainability work and wow with Point of sale material it was a complete match when I started to work with H&M group customer packaging 9 years ago. Taking our innovation and sustainability work within packaging for our stores and growing E-com sales to the next level, setting our packaging strategy and having the possibility of making sure we are leading the way to a more sustainable future is still my passion and the journey has just begun.
Simon has been involved within the digital print environment for the past 25 years. After joining HP Inc. in 2007, as well as holding regional sales positions and global marketing roles, Simon now specifically engages brands worldwide as part of the recently created HP Packaging Ventures Team. He highlights the advantages and opportunities afforded when digitally printing corrugated Packaging is implemented as part of a brands supply chain logistics and GTM strategy. In addition to supporting brands and the HP convertor network, Simon participates at events and seminars worldwide highlighting the opportunities available when implementing digitally printed sustainable packaging.
Liz Logue became EFI’s VP of Inkjet Customer/Brand Engagement and Strategy in 2019, a new role focused on helping EFI’s digital corrugated customers engage with brands. Logue’s work helps drive market awareness about digital printing and value it brings to the consumers. She also researches and develops strategies to extend EFI’s inkjet technology portfolio into additional new markets that can benefit from the and continuing analog to digital transformation in print manufacturing.
Prior to taking her current role, Logue was Vice president of Corporate Business Development, and Ink Jet strategy at EFI. In that position, she was responsible for planning, market evaluation and execution behind strategic M&A and new market development activity. Her work has included directing or assisting in EFI’s strategic moves into ceramics, textiles and corrugated packaging, working with engineering, ink and software teams to implement the correct solutions for target markets.
Prior to joining EFI in 2008, Logue worked for 10 years in various roles at IT Strategies, a specialized strategic consultancy company focused on the digital print industry. In her roles she advised hardware, ink and software vendors on corporate, product and M&A strategy. She also managed research initiatives, maintained industry relationships and kept abreast of the latest technology developments.
Christoph is a Principal in AFRY Management Consulting’s packaging practice. He joined the Munich office in 2011 and has been working extensively within the packaging value chain, cooperating mainly with packaging material and -converting companies in Europe, MENA and other global regions. Key focus has been on strategic advisory, and topics ranging from strategy development, trend research, to Due Diligence assignments.
