The rapidly evolving nature of e-commerce as a sales and delivery channel is making it one of the most attractive areas of the global packaging industry, with brands, logistics companies, conventional and online retailers, converters and material suppliers all positioning themselves to take advantage of this. The situation of sales for e-commerce applications contrast positively with that for the wider packaging market, where growth of 2.9% across the same period will push a market of $851 billion to $980 billion in 2022.
